Does the King's Leaf Cigar Lounge on King St in Charleston have a dress code?
Kings Leaf’s Downtown Charleston location was designed for an elegant, curated experience. For Customers that intend to lounge, our dress code plays a part as well; accordingly, please the guidelines below. For Customers wishing to take cigars to go, the below guidelines do not apply (save clothing with offense language).
DOs
Gentlemen: Dress smart casual. Collared shirts are suggested, not required. Stylish/fitted t-shirts, shorts and jeans are allowed.
Ladies: Jeans are permitted; however, leggings/jeggings are not permitted. No excessive ripping or undergarments showing are allowed for lounging.
Dress hats for ladies are encouraged; men must remove hats when seated.
Dress shoes are recommended (ladies & men); however, clean, athletic sneakers are allowed.
DON’Ts
Clothing with offensive language, athletic shorts, swim trunks, sweatpants, or athletic slides, or beach/pool wear (i.e., Crocs).
Baseball (type) caps for ladies or gentlemen.
Baggy clothing. Pants and shorts must have pockets and belt loops. No camouflage shirts/pants.
